The 19th Judicial District Clerk of Court is the custodian of records for the Weld County Courts. In-person requests can be made at the windows in the Clerk’s Office during office hours (8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday). Processing time is usually a few hours, but some records may take 3 to 5 business days to process. The search fee for court records varies depending on the filing year:
- 1990 – present: $5 per name
- 1975 – 1989: $20 per name
- Before 1975: $20 (hourly) hour per name
The search fees for court records retrieved from an off-site storage facility cost $25. The copy fees of court records cost $.75 per page for paper-filed documents and $.25 per page for computer-generated documents. Certified copies cost $20.
