The Clerk and Recording Department offers property owner lookup services to the general public through the use of a third-party website. To perform a property lookup in Larimer County, visit the county's Clerk and Recording Department online. Click on "Requesting Copies" and click on the third-party link provided. Click on "Anonymous User", and click on the third-party link. The search parameters are by name, document, book and page, consideration, record date, legal, and reception number. Click on any of the search parameters and fill in the required information. Click on "Submit". Information provided in the lookup search includes the property owner's information.

Users are required to register and log in in order to access watermarked images. One must purchase and download the document in order to obtain the unwatermarked images. An Agreement must be signed by anyone planning to visit frequently.

How to Perform a Property Owner Lookup in Larimer County

Members of the public may obtain property owner information online via the Larimer County Property Assessor's online portal. To perform a property owner lookup, click on "Search Property Records", and fill in the parcel number, account/schedule, or serial number (for mobile homes only), and on "Find Property". Most record custodians have online portals where individuals can find Larimer County property records. For example, the Larimer County Treasurer and Public Trustee has a Property Tax Search tool where individuals can find property tax information. The search criteria are by account/schedule number, parcel number, owner name, address number, or street name. Several third-party websites also provide Larimer County property records search services to the general public online. Record seekers may be required to provide information relevant to the property record search. They may also be required to pay a fee to gain access to the particular record needed.

How to Find Property Owner by Address for Free

The Larimer County Assessor’s Property Records Search tool can be used to find property ownership information by address for free. Users must navigate to the Search for Property fields and enter the property’s address number or street name in the search box. Then click the Find Property button to find the property details, including the owner’s information.

Larimer County Property Tax Lookup

The Larimer County Treasurer and Public Trustee provides access to property tax information through its Property Tax Search tool. Individuals can conduct a search using either a Specific Property field, any Search for Property fields, or select a year in the All Inquiries section. Alternatively, requesters can conduct property tax lookups by email, phone, or in person at the Treasurer and Public Trustee’s Office.
